Assistant Vice President, Capital Solutions – Corporate Banking
Responsibilities:
Support deal origination efforts for loans and fixed income business; develop and maintain marketing materials
Assist in execution, including but not limited to business, legal and financial due diligence, credit analysis, drafting term sheets, reviewing financing documents, coordinating between internal and external parties
Support internal approval and compliance processes; work with credit, legal affairs and compliance departments
Track deliverables against execution timetable to ensure timely and successful transaction closings
Maintain good working relationships with banks and other financial institutions in the region
Assist relationship managers in maintaining close client relationships and addressing structuring and executional issues
Enhance personal and team market knowledge across various sectors and countries; conduct market research and analysis as needed
Ideal candidates are expected to possess:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business, Finance or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant experience, especially in financial modeling
Candidates with extensive experience will be considered for the position of Vice President
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
Knowledge of syndicated finance and loan syndication markets
A team player with a desire to add value and a willingness to learn
Self-motivated with a positive attitude, seeking challenging opportunities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is preferred
Fluency in written & spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
