Assistant Vice President, Capital Solutions – Corporate Banking

Responsibilities:

  • Support deal origination efforts for loans and fixed income business; develop and maintain marketing materials
  • Assist in execution, including but not limited to business, legal and financial due diligence, credit analysis, drafting term sheets, reviewing financing documents, coordinating between internal and external parties
  • Support internal approval and compliance processes; work with credit, legal affairs and compliance departments
  • Track deliverables against execution timetable to ensure timely and successful transaction closings
  • Maintain good working relationships with banks and other financial institutions in the region
  • Assist relationship managers in maintaining close client relationships and addressing structuring and executional issues
  • Enhance personal and team market knowledge across various sectors and countries; conduct market research and analysis as needed

Ideal candidates are expected to possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business, Finance or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, especially in financial modeling
  • Candidates with extensive experience will be considered for the position of Vice President
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of syndicated finance and loan syndication markets
  • A team player with a desire to add value and a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, seeking challenging opportunities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is preferred
  • Fluency in written & spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
