Head of Sales, Private Banking

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and enhance Private Banking business growth
  • Lead and manage a group of Relationship Managers (RM) to achieve assigned KPIs and AUM revenue and to build and maintain clients’ portfolios
  • Supervise and develop a team of Assistant Relationship Managers (ARM) to support client services
  • Utilize the Bank’s internal resources and leverage the Bank’s products and services to provide tailor-made financial services to clients
  • Make good use of personal’s network and professional knowledge of Private Banking industry practice to assist RM and ARM in maintaining client relationship
  • Ensure compliance of local regulatory requirements and internal control and policies of the Bank

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Studies, Finance, Economics related discipline
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in Private Wealth Management or Private Banking in which at least 3 to 5 years in a management role
  • Proven track records in leading and managing sales team
  • Experience in covering and understanding Taiwanese clients is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial investment products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Holder of Type 1 and 4 licenses
  • Holder of CPWP (Certified Private Wealth Professional) or ECF-PWM (Enhanced Competency Framework on Private Wealth Management) certificate would be an advantage
